Ombré Valentines Day Nails

Bonjour Everyone! It's Kennedy here again with an adorable idea..... Ombré Valentines day Nails they are superbly cute! I love valentines day and I love ombré so these are pretty much perfect!
So, let's start! You will be needing:
- 3 pink nail polishes all slightly different colored
- a makeup sponge, I got mine at Target
- Something to clean your nails up a bit later
First, start with clean finger nails. Paint all your nails the darkest pink, except your thumb and ring finger.
Now, on the clean sponge paint a few drops of light pink onto the tip like so:
Next, your other color right above it
And lastly your darkest color right above that
Now lightly push the sponge onto your index finger, rubbing it back and forth. Remove the sponge.
Now your nail may be a little dirty so clean it with a q-tip and some finger nail polish. Repeat on thumb.
And voila you are finished! These nails are super cute and perfect for valentines day!

Braided Bun

Hi everyone! This is Savanna and today I am going to show you all how to do a simple cute bun. The materials that you'll need are 2 hair pony tails and lots of bobbypins. A special thanks goes to my sister, Katie, for letting me use her head for an example.

First, you'll need to pull your hair back into a ponytail
Make sure to put the ponytail in the middle if where you want the bun to be.

After doing this, do a simple three strand braid and put a ponytail at the end.
Then wrap the braid around the top of the ponytail.

Then you are almost done! You then sucre the braid with lots of bobbypins. I also used another ponytail to secure it but that is up to you. :)
This is the finished bun! It's super easy an aboslutely adorable!

Check back soon for more tips, tricks, and fun!

Coffee Cup Cozzies

Bonjour Everyone! It's Kennedy with our first DIY, Coffee Cup Cozies! I was working in my churches coffee shop last Saturday, when this lady gave me this genius idea! I don't really drink coffee, and to be honest I kind of hate it! But, man do I love myself some Chai tea and hot chocolate! This does require some sewing, but its super easy! So, lets begin!

 Supplies Needed:

  • Fun Fabric, 1 fabric square will make multiples
  • Felt, not much needed
  • Sewing Scissors
  • Buttons, 1 or 2
  • A Needle
  • Coordinating Thread, will be visible
  • A Coffee Sleeve, can be found at most coffee shops

1st you are going to be needing to trace your coffee sleeve onto a piece of paper making it slightly larger.

Now, cut it out and pin it to your fabrics (you can do them separate or together).

Cut out both of your fabrics.

Pin them together with right sides together.

Sew them together with about a 1/2 inch seem allowance. Leaving the right side completely not sewed.

Now, turn it inside out, and iron it.

Now, you are going to sew around the entire thing leaving about a 1/2 inch seam allowance. Don't worry about tucking in the unsewed area just sew right over it leaving the edges out. Sew a button or 2 about 1 inch away from the edge.

Now, for the tricky part. Cross the sewed edge with the button on it over the unsewed edge about an inch. Using a needle and thread sew them together right on top of the already sewed area (make sense?) Go back and forth until secure.

And voila you are finished! Just keep it in your purse or car till the next time you get a coffee! Bonus, its recyclable unlike those cardboard ones!
